Google to acquire DoubleClick???

Google is looking to acquire DoubleClick, which is an online advertising giant, and would increase their already tightening hold on the advertising business. This article claims that Google "WILL BE a monopoly". Interesting thought, and could come true I suppose. My feelings, however, are that the information age has widened so many things so far, that a monopoly will be harder to come by than ever. However, Google is the one company, with an acquisition like YouTube and the possibility of DoubleClick, that could do this.

IBM Printers

A new IBM printer will allow for small business to put barcodes on their labels, among other things. For $1750, it's really a bargain because it gives small business owners a lot of flexibility that does not normally come with the "annoying" printers. I really enjoy the PXML integration through WebSphere, which gives more control to the user. WebSphere is great. Buy a printer, buy this one.
